Dr. Caryn Darwin is a licensed psychologist and experienced school psychologist with over 20 years of dedication to supporting the mental health and well-being of children, young adults, and families. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2000), Master of Arts in School Psychology (2003), and Education Specialist degrees (2004) from Austin Peay State University, followed by her Doctorate in School Psychology from Tennessee State University in 2016.
Dr. Darwin specializes in comprehensive psychological evaluations for children and young adults aged 2–17, focusing on autism spectrum disorders and other developmental and neuropsychological challenges. Additionally, she provides assessments for individuals aged 5–22 addressing mental health concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Darwin is also skilled in play therapy for children aged 3–10, leveraging creative and developmentally appropriate approaches to support emotional growth and resilience. Drawing from an integrative therapeutic framework, Dr. Darwin combines solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered techniques with play-based modalities to address diverse needs.
